We are a group of surgeons and scientists from major research universities collaborating to provide technology to our medical partners around the world so that they can harness the power of the Internet to promote education and medical self sufficiency.
wiredMD is a free, interactive medical forums and resource website. This website is a University without Borders, where participating surgeons submit consultations and leave comments regarding surgical cases. This is a forum for educational interchange between physicians located throughout the world whose goals are the improvement of patient care and empowerment of local medical staff. Because wiredMD represents a patient database, patient confidentiality is strictly guarded. All participants must have appropriate credentials. This is an academic discussion only, and by posting comments, wiredMD does not endorse or support any particular procedure.
